(BIVN) – On Wednesday in Hilo, Tiffnie Kakalia presented her final argument against the University of Hawaii’s application for a conservation district use permit to cite the Thirty Meter Telescope on Mauna Kea.

The day-long hearing concluded with no decision by the Hawaii Board of Land and Natural Resources. The BLNR will issue its decision at a later date.
