KEALAKEHE, Hawaii – Kohala kupuna Kealoha Sugiyama shares his thoughts on genetically modified organisms.
Sugiyama was one of hundreds to testify at the Hawaii County Council committee hearing on bill 79 – which would prohibit GMOs on the Big Island. His humorous speech was well received by supporters of the measure.
