Mauna Kea wasn’t the only mountain with a white summit this morning. The top of Mauna Loa was also covered with snow.
This video was shot by Tim O. Bryan early this morning, from the steaming fields of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Snow on the summit of Big Island mountains is not unheard of in the winter months, but it is usually Mauna Kea that gets all the attention when a storm hits.
