First football games in decades held at Hawaiian Beaches Park

Puna is proud to showcase its new football team.

The Pahoa Puna Panthers hosted a number of Pop Warner flag football games at Hawaiian Beaches Park this past Sunday, where a number of teams from the east side of the Big Island competed in a number of different age groups. The event was the culmination of hard work on the part of Keven and Kyle Lee, and resident Fred Blas. The group is hopeful that the effort will lay the groundwork needed for an eventual high school football team in Pahoa.
