HILO, Hawaii – A school project that was deemed suspicious resulted in the lockdown of Waiakea High School on Thursday.
Police and fire crews surrounded the complex in Hilo, blocking the entrance in and out.
Eventually the all clear was given, and it was revealed that the suspicious object was, in fact, a school project.
