Virtually nothing is left here at the scene of a Tuesday morning house fire on Ohia street in Naalehu.
Occupants of the home escaped without injury, but the 3,400 square foot home was a total loss. The heat from the inferno was so intense that it nearly burned down neighboring homes.
The neighbor living across the street recounts the mayhem from that morning.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire inspectors.
