The Hawaii County Council will be conducting a Public Hearing on the attached Bill 266 which was initiated by Planning Director Bobby Jean Leithhead-Todd. The public hearing will take place at the Hilo Council Chambers on September 4, 2012 beginning at 6:00pm. Those wishing to testify can also participate via video conferencing at our Pahoa, Waimea and Kona council offices.

The public hearing is designed for Councilmember’s to listen to public testimony on the subject matter. No council decision will take place during the public hearing, and the matter is scheduled for a vote on September 19, 2012. If you have any feedback regarding this bill, please do not hesitate to share your thoughts with me on this matter.
