HILO, Hawaii – Hawaii County Democrats were introduced to a fiery candidate for U.S. Senate on Saturday at Sangha Hall. Brian Evans took to the podium at the annual party convention, where he laid out his campaign platform.
Evans may be a relative unknown in Hawaii Island politics, but he is well known on YouTube for his singing talents. Many of his videos, posted under the account “The Croonerman”, have amassed millions of views.
The big name Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate are incumbent Brian Schatz, and current U.S. Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa.
