VOLCANO, Hawaii: A hunter who went missing in the Volcano area has been found.

Fire officials say a 56 year old male hunter became lost in the forest behind the Volcano Transfer Station.

According to the fire department, the hunter was unfamiliar with the area and didn’t stay on the trail.

He was eventually located by the Fire Department’s Chopper One and a ground crew, who were able to walk him out of the forest.

No one was injured in the incident.
